My dad taught me how to drive a car, bait a hook, pack for a trip, savor food, swim in the ocean, walk for miles and miles, seek good company, read for pleasure, embrace my age at every age, sleep in airports or cars or on cramped, lumpy beds without complaint, be sweet but not too sweet, enjoy a party and know when to leave one, never cry for help unless you mean it, laugh at jokes, treat animals and folks that need a hand and to cherish everyday in some way.
